Modern Army Moment Piece

So here is the piece that inspired me with the sketches I drew last week. Actually the more and more I tried sketching out a "moment piece" the more I thought about a certain game I've been playing the past month. So you can actually say this was inspired by all my video game playing. If you aren't sure what game it is, hardcore gamers would be able to guess easily what game or game genre inspired this piece. Turned out better than what was in my head which I'm glad. Hope you guys like it as well.

Modern Army

Well here's this weeks sketch. I was doodling at lunch this week and i drew the first sketch on the left. i though to myself sweet it looks like it can be a soldier in some modern army. So i created the other three and was messing around with the design and shapes of their helmet and armor. These sketches inspired me to create a "moment painting" stay tuned till next week to see what i come up with.

Happy Birthday Crystal Calosing!!

Disney films and disney Shorts have been such a big part of my life and probably was the main reason I have gone into the profession that I am. The only other person in my life that loves disney as much as I do is my girlfriend. It being a very special birthday for her, I decided to create this piece for her. It's a reminder of how old we get, we will never be too old to love the "kids" cartoons we grew up with and a reminder that, WE LOOK DARN GOOD WITH LARGE DISNEY EYES HAHA. Yes my eyes are very small but it's disney style. Love you Crystal. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
